NamingIs Revenue Cloud Advanced the same thing as Agentforce Revenue Management?
Yes. RLM, Revenue Cloud Advanced and Agentforce Revenue Management are names for the same native quote-to-cash platform. Salesforce's own documentation now titles it Revenue Management and states that you may still see Revenue Cloud in the product and the docs. The name changed; the data model and the APIs carried on.
CPQHow is this different from Salesforce CPQ?
Different products, not versions of one. Salesforce CPQ is an acquired managed package in the SBQQ__ namespace, with price rules and product rules. The native platform has no namespace and prices through pricing procedures, expression sets and decision tables. If an org carries the CPQ namespace, almost nothing written about the native platform applies to it.
BillingWhy are no billing schedules being created?
Almost always a prerequisite rather than a bug. Four pieces of org configuration and four order-line fields decide whether schedules exist, and none of them reports anything when missing. The full list is here.
PricingMy pricing procedure runs and nothing changes.
Three usual causes. The procedure was deactivated by being edited. The compiled _Auto version is not what you inspected. Or a step references a record identifier that does not exist in this org — which is the classic failure after a migration. Details here.
TaxCan I make the tax code depend on the customer's country?
Not natively. TaxTreatmentItem has no geographic field, and the standard tax decision table takes a code as input and returns a rate, so it can never produce a code. It is achievable with configuration and a flow — the pattern is here.
TaxWhich address decides the VAT rate?
The country of the billing profile, not the address on the order. Verified in both directions on two orders carrying different addresses and the same profile: same rate.
DataCan I create invoices or billing schedules by API?
No. Invoice, InvoiceLine and BillingSchedule are not createable — they are outputs of the billing engine. What to do about external invoices.
MethodThe documentation says a field exists and it does not.
On these newer objects the public documentation runs behind the schema, in both directions. Check with sf sobject describe before concluding that you need a custom field — and before concluding that a documented field exists.
